You can find transcription roles with this company paying $20 per audio hour. After you apply for the position, there will be a short transcription test, which you need to pass to get the job. If you have a native English accent and any formal or informal teaching experience; you can apply to be an online tutor with this company. You mainly teach conversational English to Chinese kids. It hires in the US and Canada.

HAWO is another legitimate tutoring company that hires ESL teachers in the US and Canada. It hires tutors with a BA degree or students currently studying at the university. Experience in teaching is needed for this role, and other teaching certificates are preferred. The base pay is $18 per hour for a 45-minute class along with bonuses and incentives.
Average Pay: $18 per hour plus bonuses and incentives.
Requirements: You need to have a bachelor’s degree or higher with experience in teaching or tutoring. Teaching license certificates like TESOL, DELTA, etc. are preferred.
You have freelance openings for editors, proofreaders, and book developers with this company. Though the opportunities are not frequent, you can always check the website later to see if the company is hiring.
Average Pay: The pay differs with the position.
Requirements: You need to have some book editing or ghostwriting experience with excellent English skills for an editor role.
ETS is a scoring company where you get paid to score different tests. The work is basically to evaluate essays, spoken responses, and more. You can get paid up to $20 per hour.

InstaEDU is an online tutoring company hiring tutors for teaching subjects like biology, maths, business, engineering, science, etc. The schedules are quite flexible, and the work is through Skype.
